SEMH Teaching Assistant Required

Teaching Personnel are working closely with an innovative school that provides a specialist service that enables vulnerable young people to benefit from a holistic and therapeutic approach to education and care. The school is split across two sites in Kent, each offering their own unique setting and features. The Sittingbourne site is a traditional Victorian church school building within an urban environment, whilst the Teynham farm occupies a purpose-built timber barn surrounded by open fields, with vegetable gardens, farm animals and an engineering workshop
My client is an SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health) school based in the Sittingbourne area, they are currently looking for good all round Teaching Assistants. You will need to be flexible support across key stages. This is a full-time position starting in October 2017.

If you have experience of working within a school and have experience in working with students statemented with SEMH(Social, Emotional Mental Health) You will be:

*Experienced within the SEN sector or have an interest in supporting children with a range of additional needs.
Relevant qualifications and experience will be highly beneficial, yet it will be your ability build relationships and increase pupils attainment and sense of worth that will make you a success.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
