Stoke | £103.13 per day | Flexible, Long-Term & Temp-to-Perm Opportunities | September Start

Are you passionate about supporting young people and looking to build experience within education?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants to work within a specialist SEN and SEMH setting supporting children and young people with additional needs, Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, trauma-related needs and challenging behaviour.

This role is ideal for individuals from a range of backgrounds including:

  • Teaching Assistants
  • Behaviour Mentors
  • Youth Workers
  • Sports Coaches
  • Support Workers
  • Residential Care Workers
  • Psychology or Criminology Graduates
  • Military or Security backgrounds

No two days are the same. You could be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, assisting within the classroom, helping students regulate emotions, or supporting engagement with learning.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Genuine desire to make a difference
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
