SEMH, Teaching Assistant, Primary, full time.

Job description

I am working with a 'Good' two form entry Primary school based in the outer London borough of Kingston, this oversubscribed school are looking for a specialist TA to support a Y1 pupil with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) November 2019.

The pupil is new to the school, the school are looking to see people for this position the first couple of weeks back in September and this role will be for at least one academic year. This two form entry school is located just a short bus journey from Kingston town centre, they have parking available for staff but it is limited.

The pupil struggles with interaction with their peers, they can get frustrated quite easily and sometimes will try to disrupt the class. The school are looking for someone with experience working with children with SEN in particular SEMH and Autism. Having school based experience is necessary but is preferred, they want someone with a excellent knowledge of working with children on a 1-2-1 basis. The school have excellent facilities available for their staff and have CPD throughout the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
