SEMH Teaching Assistant

A school in Manchester is looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join the team after the Easter break.

Previous experience working with children with SEN, or children who display challenging behaviour is essential in order to make this role a success.

Applications are welcomed from SEN specialists, Graduates, as well as those who have experience working with children within a youth/community/charity setting. Additionally, we can welcome applicatinos from those working within a care/healthcare setting owing to the transferrable skills required for this particular position.

The role will involve developing resouces and educational material for students, working across multiple subjects. The applicant will be expected to create stron bonds with students, and sdisplay an approachable nature at all times. 

Pay for this role is up to GBP1400 per month – applications are welcomed from those who are looking to enrol onto a PGCE or related teacher training course in September 2021 or 2022.

The school is located in Manchester.  There are motorway junctions within close proximity of the school site, as well as public transport links.
