Behaviour Teaching Assistants wanted for Primary Learning Centre in South East London - Start ASAP

  • Good Transport Links
  • Long Term Full Time roles
  • Supportive Staff and training provided

Due to increase of pupils numbers we are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSA's) and Teaching Assistants (TA's) for a great Learning Centre to support in a mixed provision for primary aged children within the Royal Borough of Greenwich (South East London)

The ideal candidates will have desired backgrounds in Sports (coaching), Psychology, Youth Work, Art and Design and Music and training such as Team-teach Positive Intervention is ideal but can also be offered through our agency.

About the Learning Centre in South East London

Decisions about a place at the learning centre are the responsibility of the Royal Borough of Greenwich,

This placement enables pupils to refocus on their learning and/or to prevent a permanent exclusion.

All of their pupils are ‘dual registered’, meaning that they remain on their home school’s register whilst attending the Learning Centre. The reason for this is to ensure that pupils have the best possible chance of returning to their mainstream school. This also enables pupils attending the Learning Centre to access support groups/key professionals that may have been provided or working with them at their home school.

The Learning Centre expects that, ideally, most pupils will return to their mainstream school after spending two terms at or centre.

The nearest train station is Kidbrooke, just a short walk from the School / Learning Centre. Another local station is Blackheath
