We are supporting a range of primary and secondary schools in King’s Lynn and surrounding areas, offering opportunities to work across Reception through to Year 11. Whether you’re seeking regular placements or day-to-day flexibility, this role is designed to fit around your schedule.
This is more than just flexible work — it’s an opportunity to build valuable experience in education while supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Opportunity
As a Supply SEMH Teaching Assistant, you’ll work across a variety of school settings, supporting students with additional needs and helping maintain positive, structured learning environments.
This role offers you the opportunity to:

Your Key Responsibilities
Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom
Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
Assist teachers with lessons, activities, and classroom organisation
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs
A proactive and reliable attitude
Full UK driving licence (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
