 SEMH Teaching Assistant – Bootle

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you believe in the power of trauma-informed practice and want to be part of a nurturing, forward-thinking school community?

We’re looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Bootle, where your compassion, resilience, and commitment to pupil wellbeing will be truly valued.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs (school-based or other settings)
  • Trauma-informed training or a strong interest in developing this approach
  • A desire to become Thrive Approach qualified – or already on your way!
  • Someone who can build trusting relationships and create safe spaces for learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
