An independent school situated in Hitchin currently seeking staff to join their dynamic staffing team. Originally the school catered for students with social and emotional behavioural difficulties but they have recently expanded their intake to include students with complex needs, speech and language communication needs and those on the Autistic Spectrum.

The head is looking for staff that is enthusiastic and driven to making a difference in supporting vulnerable students. The students are taught in small groups either in a 1:1 ratio or groups of three.

The head really encourages career development and encourages assistants to lead and take lessons in subjects they are passionate about or have a good skill / knowledge in. Not only will you be able to help shape the learning of individuals it will also give you the opportunity to develop your teaching ability.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
