Job description

A larger than average, fast paced primary school in the Shaw area of Oldham (OL2) are looking for an passionate and devoted Teaching Assistant to join their hard working staffing team.  The successful applicant will work with a number of SEN students identified with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) on both a 1:1 and small group basis.

The appointed teaching assistant will be responsible for looking after the well being of the children in their care, whilst gaining constant support from the school SENCO and senior leadership team.

You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
