A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience in key stage 2.
- Part time Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
- Competitive rates £12.50 - £15 per hour
- To start September 2024.
- Temporary with a view to make the right candidate permanent.
- Burnley.
We are looking for an experienced teaching Assistant to work with small groups of pupils to develop their maths and English skills. This role has arisen due to the number of pupils struggling to meet targets in core subjects and their ability to learn in a busy classroom environment following Covid-19.
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you would be required to:
- Assist the classroom teacher with delivery of lessons.
- Support pupils when required within a class of 28-31 pupils.
- Assist in the management of behaviour.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to provide extra support in the core subjects, Numeracy, Literacy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
