SEMH Learning Mentor - PRU | Salford

Full-Time | September Start | Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about changing young lives? Do you have the resilience, empathy, and determination to support students who need it most?

Teaching Personnel is looking for a committed SEMH Learning Mentor to join a specialist PRU in Salford this September. You'll play a key role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them build confidence, manage behaviour, and re-engage with education.

What you'll do:

Provide 1:1 and small group support

Build positive, trusting relationships with students

Support emotional regulation and behaviour management

Encourage engagement, progress, and personal development

Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to make a real difference

What we're looking for:

Experience working with young people in education, care, youth work, or support settings

A calm, patient, and resilient attitude

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
