SEMH assistant needed in Trafford

I am currently recruiting teaching assistants located within the Trafford to be apart of a specialist school for secondary aged young people with social and emotional difficulties. The school caters for young people in KS3/4 and focuses on their emotional as well as academic development. Some pupils have profound multiple learning difficulties, and severe learning difficulties, with some including speech language.

The school is looking for a confident and resilient individual that is able to engage with reluctant learners on a one-to-one basis and in the classroom. Ideally the successful teaching assistant will have physical and verbal de-escalation training, however not essential. If you have a Cache Level 2,3 or 4, this is a very desirable quality to have.

The successful teaching assistant will be supporting learners who are under performing in their subjects and assist them when implementing strategies to benefit the learner's confidence. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching support.

The Trafford School is looking for a passionate person to assist pupils in the day to day learning and routines of a school environment.

This is a long term rolling contract, with great potential to become permanent.
