Teaching Personnel are recruiting Qualified Teachers across all subjects to support multiple secondary schools in South Manchester, with long‑term opportunities starting September 2026 (and May 2026 for those available earlier).
We’re supporting a high volume of vacancies across subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, PE, Computing, Art, RE and more — matching teachers to schools that suit their strengths, commute and career progression plans.
Contract Details
- Contract: Full‑time, long‑term supply
- Start Date: September 2026 (or April 2026 post‑Easter if preferred)
- Pay: Matched to your pay scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term roles, paid weekly via PAYE
- Location: Secondary schools across South Manchester (e.g. Didsbury, Chorlton, Trafford, Sale, Altrincham, Wythenshawe)
About the Roles
As a long‑term Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high‑quality lessons in your specialist subject at KS3 & KS4
- Plan, teach and assess effectively in line with the curriculum (long‑term placements)
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and engagement
- Support mixed‑ability learners including SEN, EAL and high achievers
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where required
- Access roles with clear progression pathways and temp‑to‑perm potential
- Be considered for permanent roles within several of our partner schools
We’re Looking For
- Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS) with secondary experience
- ECTs in any subject specialism
- Strong behaviour management and confident classroom practice
- Teachers who build positive relationships and deliver strong outcomes
- Reliable, adaptable individuals confident teaching a range of classes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
