Secondary Supply Teacher
Job description
Secondary Supply Teachers – Cambridge & Surrounding Areas
Central Cambridge | East Cambridge | South Cambridgeshire
Flexible Supply | Day-to-Day & Pre-Booked Work
Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for flexible work that fits around you, without stepping away from the classroom altogether?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a large multi-academy trust across Cambridge and the surrounding areas, and we are looking to expand our team of reliable, enthusiastic Secondary Supply Teachers to support their schools.
With a mixture of pre-booked assignments and same-day supply needs, this is a great opportunity for teachers who want flexibility while still having access to regular work across a group of schools we work closely with.
What can we offer you?
- Flexible working – choose the days you are available to work
- A mixture of pre-booked and day-to-day supply
- Opportunities across Central Cambridge, East Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire
- Access to regular opportunities through our partnership with a large trust in the region
- The chance to experience different schools without committing to a permanent role
- Support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant who understands the local schools and your preferences
- Opportunities that can work around other commitments, whether you are looking for one or two days a week or something more regular
Who are we looking for?
We would love to hear from teachers who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a Secondary school setting
- Are confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Are adaptable, reliable and comfortable stepping into different school environments
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have their own transport and are happy to travel to schools within their preferred area
- Are looking for flexible work, whether that is a few days each month or regular weekly supply
Why supply through Teaching Personnel?
Supply teaching should give you flexibility, but that doesn't mean you should have to compromise on having consistent opportunities.
Our partnership with a large trust means we are supporting a variety of schools across the Cambridge area with their ongoing cover requirements. We are therefore keen to build a strong pool of local teachers who we can get to know, understand their preferences and match with suitable schools.
Whether you're looking to improve your work-life balance, reduce the additional responsibilities that come with a permanent teaching role, return to teaching, or simply take greater control over when and where you work, we'd love to speak with you.
Interested? Apply today and let us know which area you would prefer to work in: Central Cambridge, East Cambridge or South Cambridgeshire.
