Secondary Teacher Lowestoft

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher or currently completing your teacher training and due to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Lowestoft area who are seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers to join their teams. We welcome applications from teachers specialising in any secondary subject, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, Technology, the Arts, and more.

Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) preparing to gain QTS, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in supportive and engaging school environments.

The Role

As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons within your specialist subject, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Opportunities are available on a day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term basis, providing flexibility to suit your career goals and availability.

We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards gaining QTS
  • A degree or relevant qualification in your specialist subject area
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating young people
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
