The School has a large, established and successful English Department, and is lead by an experienced and supportive Head of Department. Its enthusiastic and committed team of Teachers comprises of three Head's of Key Stage, as well as other teaching Staff. The role...

The ideal Candidate would be able to teach English Literature and Language up to KS4, and be able to or interested in teaching at KS5. The expectation is that the succesful Candidate has the ability to enthuse Students in their Subject, and contextualise English learning for the modern world. The successful candidate will be well-qualified and inspiring, with a history of delivering results in English teaching. The vacancy is an open one within Department, following the retirement of an experienced colleague.
