Teaching Personnel are looking for a Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive team in a specialist provision within the Morpeth area of Northumberland (NE61).
You will be required to work with children between the ages of 11-16 years old.
For this role you will be expected to deal with managing behaviours, as well as teaching English at GCSE Level. You will also be responsible for planning the work for the group of students you will be working with, their individual timetables and their assessments.
We are looking for someone who is available full time (8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday), starting in September 2021 for the new academic year.
This role will continue until the end of the first term, with the possibility of extending until the end of the academic year July 2022.
The perfect candidate will be caring, understanding and professional.
Team Teach qualifications are desirable but not mandatory as training can be provided for the right candidate. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will also need be Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service, (Or Willing to apply for one through ourselves) and eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation).
Experience working with children with Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism (ASC) is also desirable.
We have competitive pay rates of GBP450- GBP650 per week, but this can be negotiated for long term roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
