Job description

Chemistry. Biology. Physics. These subjects might evoke different reactions in students—excitement for some, and a touch of trepidation for others. If you’re a passionate Science tutor based in Lincoln and surrounding areas, and you’ve got the ability to turn complex concepts into exciting discoveries, we want to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident communicator with a strong command of the English language.

  • A passion for Science and a genuine desire to make it accessible and exciting for students.

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service—or willingness to obtain one (we’ll help guide you through the process).

  • Experience working with students, including those with SEND, SEMH, and other additional needs.

  • Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, along with up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.

  • A solid understanding of the Science curriculum across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

  • Two recent professional references covering your last 24 months of employment (from a 10-year work history).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
