'Good' graded Ofsted school seeking Science teacher for a full time role teaching KS3/KS4 Science to start in September 2019.

Rate: £120 to £215 per day.

Are you a NQT Science teacher or a experienced teacher of Science seeking a new opportunity in Bromley for September 2019? Are you looking to work in a 'Good' school in South East London?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Science teacher on behalf of one of our partner secondary schools in the Bromley area from September 2019. The incoming Science Teacher will be on a temporary contract for 12 months, although due to a gap in the department there is a strong possibility of obtaining a permanent contract following a successful year.

  • Full time Science Teacher from September 2019 (can start in October).
  • Teaching both KS3 and KS4 courses
  • 12 month contract with a possibility of a permanent role thereafter
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406) and Outer London weighting
  • Join a successful department with a proven track record of raising attainment in Science.

Our partner secondary school is situated in the Bromley area of South East London, and is accessible via the local train network from London Bridge as well as a number of bus routes. Candidates who drive can reach the school following a short drive from the Ring Road. The school has excellent links with the local community and has modern facilities throughout due to recent refurbishments.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for their chosen subject and the ability to deliver an innovative curriculum particularly at Key Stage 4." Headteacher of 'Good graded school.

Our client school are seeking prospective candidates who have experience at teaching GCSE Science, and seeking to pursue a career in the school. This role will involve full departmental responsibilities including both planning and marking. Planning is usually done collaboratively during the dedicated and timetabled department time. The post is suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) that may be looking for their first introductory role, as well as experience teachers looking for the next step in their career. Applicants should hold QTS or have relevant teaching qualifications.
