Science teacher needed for Tameside based secondary school due to an upcoming need within the department for September 2019. This is an opportunity to earn a permanent contract in a school that offers clear career progression and regular CPD courses.

The timetable consists of Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 with a specialism to KS4. Medium sized with around 700 students on roll this traditional mixed comprehensive, academically the school achieves below national averages and has a high percentage of students eligible for free school meals at 32% due to it's catchment area.

The school have a reputation for breeding their own so you will be provided with regular support, mentoring from an experienced head of department and a senior leadership team looking to move the school forward academically. Science teachers at this school will need to have strong behaviour management and a desire to make a significant impact on the department and students.
