Science Teacher - Oldham

Are you a qualified teacher looking for your next role at a 'Good' secondary school in Oldham?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with one of our partner schools in Oldham who require a Science teacher for the summer term (Easter-July) and potentially beyond. This is a great opportunity to work at an Ofsted graded 'Good' school with a fantastic reputation.

  • Full time Teacher of Science post from Easter 2019
  • Potential for a permanent post from September 2019
  • 'Good' secondary school in Oldham
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner secondary school is based in the scenic and leafy suburb of Uppermill in Oldham, and is oversubscribed with over 1300 students currently attending from the surrounding areas of Mossley, Lees, Delph and Denshaw. The school has recently been rated 'Good' again by Ofsted, with the inspectors highlighting several strengths including leadership and pupil behaviour. The school is located just off a main high street, and is accessible through Oldham and Tameside, as well as being located close to local bus routes and a short walk from a train station.

"We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, passionate and driven Teacher of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a provision in a well established and popular school. We are therefore looking for an outstanding practitioner with drive and commitment and an unrelenting focus on the progress of all of the students in the school. In return you will benefit professionally from the wealth of expertise and experience through our experienced staff and through our learning partnership with other secondary schools." Headteacher.
