Due to an upcoming maternity absence in our client's Science department, there is a need for a qualified Science teacher to join them from May for the next 9 months, teaching Science across both Key Stage 3 and 4, with a possibility to extend beyond the initial period.
- Secondary school well regarded in the local community
- May 2018 start date for suitable Science teachers
- Science teachers of all specialisms welcome to apply
- Earn in line with teaching scale point for duration of assignment (MPS/UPS)
- Post expected to continue until April 2019
Our client school is a large, mixed secondary comprehensive situated in Oldham, bordering Rochdale. The school serves a rich, diverse catchment area with the vast majority of students enrol from the local areas such as Shaw, Crompton and Milnrow. Due to a history of delivering the best in education for the students in the local community, the school is well regarded and the school of choice for a number of students and parents. Since the appointment of the new Headteacher, there has been a focus on raising attainment and narrowing the gap, ensuring all students are engaged with their studies and focused on achieving the best results possible.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
