Science Teacher
Trafford

Start date: February 2019 - April 2019
Contract type: Full-time, Temporary
Salary in line with MPS/UPS

Are you an ambitious, committed teacher who has the ability to inspire students to high levels of achievement and can teach across the ability range in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering all three Science disciplines?

Do you have a passion for teaching and desire to empower children to exceed expectations?

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Science teacher to join our partner school in Trafford on a full-time temporary basis from February half term (25th February 2019) until Easter (April 2019).

The successful applicant will have a range of experience delivering Science to all ability ranges through key stages 3 and 4. This is the perfect opportunity for any Science teachers wishing to join a supportive and friendly department. The science department is well resourced and you will be joining 4 other members of teaching staff who are all motivated and driven to improving pupil attainment.

Our partner school is a small successful secondary school in Trafford, part of The Dean Trust which operates in the Local Education Authorities of Manchester, Trafford, Knowsley and Wigan. In their most recent Ofsted report (January 2019) the school was judges as a 'Good' school which the school are extremely proud of. Significant investment has been made to the school in the last 7 years, which have included a superb Vocational Centre and Sports Village. Classrooms for the majority of subjects have been completely refurbished to provide modern learning environments.
