Teacher of Science

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science teacher to join a supportive, welcoming secondary academy located in South Manchester. This role is suitable for any Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced teacher looking to secure a long term position from Easter.  

Highlights of this Science teacher position:

  • Full time position teaching KS3 and KS4 Science to mixed ability groups
  • Commencing April 2020 and running until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue in September
  • Salary to reflect pay scale and teaching experience (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
  • Modern secondary academy with welcoming staff and students, accessible from central Manchester, Stockport and Tameside

The successful Science teacher will join this popular secondary academy at Easter and will take responsibility of planning, preparing and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4. They will contribute towards the development of schemes of work and will work collaboratively with the department to ensure that all lessons are well-structured, varied and meet the needs of all students.

We are looking for a Science teacher who will be able to motivate and inspire student, manage classroom behaviour and ensure that all students achieve the best outcomes.

Successful applicants will hold Qualified Teacher Status and will have recent experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Science.
