Science Teacher

Due to an internal promotion within the faculty, the Head of Department wishes to appoint a skilled candidate to work within their highly successful staff team. This opportunity is ideal for those wishing to secure a permanent contract in the future.

-          Full time Science Teacher, September 2020 or earlier.

-          Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Bolton secondary school.

-          Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

-          Teaching Science up to KS4 Level.

-          Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490 per annum.

As the successful candidate your role will include but may not be limited to; taking on full departmental responsibilities, creating and delivering outstanding student-centred lessons and having the ability to quickly build positive working relationships with staff and pupils.

This modern secondary school currently has just over 800 pupils on roll, aged 11- 16 and has continued to promote, clear high expectations from staff and pupils. The Science department has also continued to drastically progress well in line with national averages, in terms of achievement at GCSE. Bolton is easily accessible via public transport links and the M61 motorway with access throughout Greater Manchester.
