Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Darlington. The successful Science Teacher will be joining a school with impressive results across the board. Ofsted rated this school “Good” with special praise of the quality of teaching and senior management team.

This teaching position is a fixed term full-time position from October 2020 until February Half term intially however there is the possibility this will get extended. This co-educational secondary school has a supportive and dynamic Science department with great resources throughout. The exact role involves teaching all three Sciences to KS4.

Specific Details about the role:

• Science teaching role up to KS4
• All three Sciences across KS3 – KS4
• Starting in October 2020  until February half-term initially
• Full time role

In order to be considered for this role, the Science Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS
• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum
• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
