Our client secondary school in the Trafford area is looking to recruit a Science teacher to start with them on Monday 3rd September 2018. The successful Science teacher will be teaching all sciences at KS3 and KS4. The Science department currently has 4 teachers with a 5th being required due to the growth within the department and school. The Head of Science said of the position:
"We require a science teacher who is motivated, confident and looking for a career at a supportive school. The successful scientist will benefit from our science department collaborating on ideas and our innovative nature. Our laboratories are fully equipped with all units being practical in nature and progress is monitored by associated AFL activities and end of unit tests. At KS4, in year 9 our students start learning GCSE topics and the successful teacher of science will be responsible for ensuring that students have the necessary essential skills when starting GCSE properly at the end of year 9"

The school is located in the Trafford area, on the tram line making it very easy to access for any science teachers on public transport. The school is very small in size but is growing due to an increase in students enrolment and is making good progress.
The successful science teacher will have a split timetable between KS3 and KS4 and will have the benefit from working with a science technician who also supports within specific classes.
