Science Teacher – Secondary School – Wilmslow – September Start – Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

A forward-thinking secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, delivering engaging lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for the subject. Support will be provided by a collaborative Science department with excellent resources and a strong track record of student achievement.
What the role involves:

Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons

Teaching across your specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and general Science

Tracking student progress and supporting academic development

Contributing to department planning, extracurriculars, and revision sessions

Upholding high expectations for behaviour, effort, and engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
