Required for September 2020

Teaching Personnel is recruiting an enthusiastic Teacher of Science for a tmeporary to permanent teaching job in one of our secondary schools in Torbay. This school is ideally located close to the A38. The welcoming and well established Science department would like a forward thinking newly qualified or fully qualified teacher to join them from September 2020 on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will:

  • The ability to plan and prepare exciting and varied Science lessons
  • The ability to be adaptive and flexible with their approaches to teaching; the ability to tailor teaching methods to individual needs
  • Proven teaching experience with a track record of raising engagement levels in class’ across all key stages
  • The aptitude to build positive relationships with students
  • A valid DBS on the update service or be willing apply for a new one and register with the update service

About the Role:

  • Role to start in September 2020
  • PPA cover will be given
  • Parking available

  • Rate of pay to be confirmed dependant on experience and school terms
