Job description

Join a Supportive Science Department in Salford

We are seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join a large, welcoming secondary school in Salford, starting in September 2025
Salary: teaching scale, M1 – UPS1

About the Role:

You will be delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, managing a full teaching timetable.

 The role involves:

  • Planning and delivering lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities
  • Taking responsibility for marking and assessment
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting outcomes to the Science department

About the School:

Our client school is located in Salford and is easily accessible by public transport via Rochdale Road (A664) and Cheetham Hill Road.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level

Both experienced teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged to apply. Full induction and support will be provided.
