Job Title: Science Teacher (Qualified Teacher Status Required)

Location: Redruth Cornwall

Role specification

  • Full time 
  • 3rd of June start- Unitl the end of the academic year 
  • Science KS3 & KS4 
  • Redruth 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality and engaging science lessons that cater to a diverse range of students.
  2. Assessment and Feedback (not every positions will require this): Implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  3. Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
  4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and contribute to a supportive and cohesive teaching team.
  5. Parental Communication (not every positions will require this): Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on student performance and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  3. Specialization in Science or a related subject.
  4. Proven experience as a Science Teacher with a successful track record.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong classroom management skills.
  7. Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
