Are you a Newly Qualified Science Teacher or experienced Secondary School Teacher seeking an exciting new role?
My partner school is a well established secondary school in Pontefract looking to secure a Science Teacher to start in September 2021. Working as part of a large Science department, I am looking for an engaging Science Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills and a passion for education.
I am seeking a Secondary Science Teacher who:
- Holds qualified teacher status in the UK
- Has experience working with students aged 11-16
- Can teach grade 1 – 9 GCSE Science
- Has high expectations which motivate and challenge students
- Can tailor lessons and think on their feet
- Has an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
- Holds a DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and passion towards Science with the desire to make a real difference to the lives of the students. We are looking for someone who has a strong moral purpose and drive for improvement while remaining humble, enthusiastic and flexible. The ideal person will already have UK secondary school classroom experience and behaviour management skills.
