About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking Secondary School in Oldham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and a commitment to inspiring students to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and academic achievement.

Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to boost student engagement.

Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and whole-school activities.
Requirements

A degree in Science, Education, or a related field.

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Experience teaching Science at the Secondary level is preferred.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

A commitment to continuous professional development and a genuine passion for education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
