Inspire the Next Generation – Science Teacher Opportunity (Full-Time, Northampton)
Are you a passionate Science teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Northampton to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. There is potential for an earlier start for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-resourced Science department where collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence are at the heart of the curriculum. The role involves delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on your subject specialism and experience.
The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at secondary level
-
A commitment to creating inclusive and stimulating learning environments
-
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
-
A genuine passion for Science and a desire to inspire curiosity in young learners
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop professionally in a supportive and forward-thinking school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
