Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Levenshulme

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and examinations
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to enhance student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance and progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in UK
  • Experience teaching Science at the UK secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment techniques

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Science to students aged 11-16
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time temporary position
  • Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends for school events
  • Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for extracurricular involvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
