Science Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school and sixth form seeking a Teacher of Science to join the department from January 2026.

The role:
The school are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher of science to join their department in the dedicated STEM building, on a full-time, permanent basis, from January 2025. The successful educator will be joining a supportive department who are passionate and determined to deliver high standards to all learners. The appointed educator will teach science across KS3 and KS4 with the potential to teach at KS5 if this would be of interest.

- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with an enjoyment of working with young people.
- Have effective classroom management and an ability to demonstrate resilience in working with challenging behaviour.
- Have effective time management; able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets.
- Be an excellent team player, genuinely committed to working in partnership with others.
- Be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Be a reflective practitioner committed to developing own teaching and learning strategies.
