Science Teacher – January 2026 Start
Full-time (Part-time considered) | Bournemouth | Paid to Scale
Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Bournemouth area from January 2026.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Science to inspire pupils and contribute to a supportive department that consistently achieves strong outcomes. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that all learners are supported in reaching their potential.
The school are looking for someone who can bring energy, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for Science into the classroom. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Full-time position preferred, though part-time will be considered

Long-term role with potential for continuation or progression into a permanent post

Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science with opportunities to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on expertise

Pay in line with the national teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS)

Requirements for applicants:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising student attainment

Enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to motivate and inspire young people
