Science Teacher

Opportunity to join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school to provide support within the Science department.

• Full-time Science teacher (mainly Chemistry).
• Required for an April 2021 start for the remainder academic year (2020/2021).
• Pay in line with teaching scale point, GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum.
• Bolton based secondary school, accessible via the M61 motorway.

The Science department has state of the art facilities and modern resources which can be utilised within the classrooms and practical laboratories.  Our client secondary school is located in Bury and has around 850 pupils on roll. It can be accessed via the M61/A58 and public transport links from Leigh, Bury and Chorley. 

The responsibilities for the successful Science teacher will include teaching a full time table, planning and delivering inventive Science lessons and full planning and marking responsibilities. You must hold QTS to be considered for this role alongside experience teaching Science up to GCSE level. Our client school have informed us they would prefer the successful candidate to have a specialism in Chemistry.
