Science Teacher - Altrincham

A secondary school in Altrincham is seeking to appoint a Science teacher to start ASAP. The thriving Science department has this vacancy for a Scientist as a result of their current teacher due to go on maternity leave at the end of November. They school are looking for the successful Science teacher to start as soon as possible and have a period of transition with the member of staff due to leave. The successful teacher of Science should be able to teach all sciences up to KS4, being responsible for planning, delivery and marking.

Key highlights of this position:

  • Pay range between £100 - £150 dependent on experience and pay scale
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science across the curriculum
  • Maternity cover starting as soon as possible in November

The school are looking for a highly successful Science teacher who has excellent subject knowledge. The position will demand teaching of Chemistry, Physics and Biology with the possibility to be heavily weighted towards any Science, depending on the candidate's strengths and timetable. The school have been praised and noted as having a committed team of professionals who are highly supportive of NQTs and more experienced teachers.

This outstanding school is located in Altrincham which is easily accessible via the M56 and M60 motorway networks. It is therefore easily commutable from Trafford, Stockport, and Central Manchester or further afield in the Greater Manchester area.
