Science Teacher (1-Year Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make an impact? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to cover a maternity in Heywood starting this October.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Support students’ learning in biology, chemistry, and physics topics

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the school curriculum

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with the science department and school staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Science Teacher with QTS or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching science

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to motivate and inspire students

• Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
