Job Title: School Support Staff Needed!

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Support Staff to join our team in West Yorkshire, Bradford. As a member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the educational institution, providing essential assistance to teachers, students, and parents.

Job Duties:

  • Assist teachers in preparing classrooms and educational materials.
  • Supervise students during lunch breaks, recess, and other non-classroom activities.
  • Provide individual and group support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Monitor student behaviour and address any disciplinary issues.
  • Support students with personal care tasks, such as toileting and dressing.
  • Assist in the implementation of educational programmes and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the overall safety and well-being of students.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and report generation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Patience and understanding when dealing with students.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational practises and procedures.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

All applicants will need to obtain a child enchanced DBS certificate and provide a full reference history.

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from £77 to £100 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
