School Office Admin

We are seeking an organised, friendly, and proactive School Office Administrator to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for parents, pupils, and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

Location: Burnley
Job Type: Full-time 8.30am – 3.30pm

Salary: £14.25 per hour
Start Date: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional reception service to all visitors
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
• Maintain accurate pupil records and school databases
• Support attendance monitoring and reporting
• Assist with admissions and enrolment processes
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events
• Provide general administrative support to the senior leadership team and teaching staff
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous administrative experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrates excellent organisational and time management skills
• Has strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Is confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g., SIMS or Arbor – desirable)
• Works well under pressure and can prioritise effectively
• Is approachable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service
