We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientated school admin to join our partnered Secondary School in Birmingham, West Midlands. The school admin will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to be able to speak on the phone.

Responsibilities:

-         Manage and coordinate administrative activities within the school, including office operations, greeting school visitors, budgeting, and record-keeping.

-         Answering the school phones, dealing with pupils, greeting parents, timetable enquiries, Record pupil absences on ‘Sims’

-          Collaborate with Teachers and parents and address concerns.

-         Monitor and maintain school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

Requirements:

-         Experience in school administration or passionate about working within this role.

-         Enhance DBS Certificate needed (Teaching Personnel will assist you in this process)

-         Strong organisational and time management skills.

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

-         Proficient in using computer software (Sims, Microsoft etc).

-         Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively.

-         Ability to work collaboratively in a team orientated environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
