Religious Education Teacher
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
I am working on behalf of a mainstream catholic secondary school in the South Liverpool area who require a Religious Education Teacher, for the summer term.
Please see request from the school below:
"We need a Religious Education Teacher, full-time, to teach KS3 & 4 Religious Education (GCSE) commencing from 23rd April until 19th July."
The school is located in an affluent area of South Liverpool with excellent surrounding public transport links and on site parking facilities. It is an average sized secondary school with approx 1000 students on roll. The department is well supported and resources will be shared within the faculty. Behaviour of students is brilliant due to the policies put in place by SLT.
To be suitable for either of these roles you should have:
- Valid UK PGCE in Religious Education or similar
- Recent UK teaching experience
- Good subject knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum and a passion for your subject
- Good classroom management skills
- DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
The school would ideally like to meet with suitable Religious Education Teachers ASAP. The likelihood is that they would like to see candidates plan and deliver a lesson followed by an informal chat with SLT and the Head of Faculty.
If you are interested in this position and have the relevant qualifications please send your CV to or call Craig at the Liverpool Branch on 0151 244 5430 for more information
