The EYFS Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities of the EYFS Teaching Assistant
>Assist in the social and educational development of pupils under the relative curriculum for EYFS.
>Under the direction of the Head of EYFS, assist in implementing individual learning programs for pupils and assist in the monitoring and reporting of progress.
>To provide general support inside and outside of the classroom to ensure pupils are maximising learning potential
>Take pupils in groups and 1:1 sessions for reading and spelling and to also use indoor and outdoor learning space to raise motor, social and language skills.
>General admin duties will include preparing and presenting children's work to parents and support the class lead in preparing lesson resources through cutting and photocopying.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
