Reception Teaching Assistant A primary school in Heywood have the immediate need for a Reception teaching assistant to join their support staff team; this is a full time on-going position. Teaching Personnel are working closely with this large & multi cultural primary school in Heywood to recruit a teaching assistant of graduate background. This position is ideal for a graduate who aspires to become a primary school teacher, you will work alongside the support staff and teaching team to raise attainment and improve the quality of learning in school. Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable for applicants however not essential; if you’ve worked with children in a similar capacity we welcome your application. - Reception teaching assistant position - Immediate start, working full time on a long term basis - Large primary school 5 minutes from Heywood town centre with good transport links - Earn up to GBP65 per day (previous experience dependant) - Great opportunity for aspiring teachers of the future Situated in a diverse area of the town, this Heywood based primary school is 3 form entry and has over 250 pupils on roll from a range of backgrounds. The incoming teaching assistant will be supporting class teachers in EYFS (Reception) by taking small groups during lessons under the teacher’s direction and with key areas of learning, focusing specifically on communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development.
