Reception TA Needed in Bootle

Are you a friendly and supportive individual wanting to aid the learning environment of a Reception Class in a mainstream primary school?

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in Bootle, L30, who is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to join their Reception Class. The role is to start ASAP (December 2020 or Jnauary 2021) and will continue until at least July 2021.

The role would be supporting the Reception class Teacher and pupils. You will be responsible for prepping pupils work, running interventions and group booster sessions and also working 1-1 with pupils who require extra support. Supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism and adhd may also be required. 

The Role:

• Full time, Monday - Friday
• Long term
• Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:15pm
• Reception Teaching Assistant 
• GBP10 - GBP11 per hour 
• Bootle area. L30

Responsibilities:

• Providing support within the classroom wherever required

• Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis

• Ensuring children are engaged

• Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs

• Helping with behaviour management of children

• Creating displays of children’s work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
