Teaching Personnel is currently working a brilliant infants school in Mitcham, South West London to help them appoint a Reception Teacher to start as soon as possible.

Role: Reception Class Teacher

Job Type: Full Time

Start Date: ASAP/Christmas

Location: Mitcham, South West London

The school: This is a three-form entry school in Mitcham, South West London. The school is rated as "good" by Ofsted and they are lucky to have lots of support from home. Standards at the school are very high and there is a creative atmosphere at the school with a lot of extra-curricular activities taking place on a daily basis.Unfortunately, the school do not have the capacity to be able to mentor a newly qualified teacher(NQT) and they can only accept applications from experienced teachers.

The Role: The school is seeking a Reception teacher to join the team to start ASAP. It is essential that you have experience in EYFS and have a very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics. You will be working alongside very good parallel class teachers and you will plan together on a weekly basis, to share ideas and activities. You should have a creative and enthusiastic approach to your teaching and experience of working with children who have English as an additional language.

The school are seeking someone confident, organised, animated, with excellent classroom management skills. The children at this school come in at a good level and make excellent progress and the team are keen to continue this. There is an experienced team of support staff in place and you will be responsible for the organisation of the team. The role is full time, 5 days per week.
