Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a reception teacher to work within a large four form entry school in Feltham.
This role will be starting ASAP with the intention to continue long term, potentially going permanent within the school if you are the right fit for the role.
The role?
This role will be teaching and leading their reception class, you will be working in a large four form entry school so you will be working closely with the other members of the EYFS/KS1 department. As the class teacher you will be planning, preparing and leading all classroom activities - this includes being actively involved in the catch up sessions and preparation for the students following the school closure period.
You will be working within a large class of 30 students, with a highly experienced teaching assistant that is specialised in supporting students in reception. You will work together closely to provide feedback to parents, carers and other members of staff including running parents evenings/feedback sessions.

As they are a large school they are looking for a highly experienced teacher to help support them through this academic year, they are looking for a member of staff to work long term so if you are looking for a permanent position this is the school for you.
They have undergone a number of changes in the past few years, including a recent amalgamation with the junior/infant school - seeing them update their approach to teaching and the facilities currently available.They have a new building with a range of advanced facilities. With the developments they have seen across the school they have seen a huge change in their students with SEN and additional needs, as a school with high SEN and behavioural difficulties they are looking for members of staff that are experience supporting a range of different needs.
Ideal candidate?
- Experienced teaching within EYFS/KS1, particularly reception classes
- Confident supporting students with SEN and behavioural issues
- Able to provide support to other members of staff including NQTs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
