Reception Teacher
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a ‘Good’ school in Todmorden to recruit an excellent Reception Teacher to work within their EYFS department. The role is full-time, due to commence at the end of November, and set to run until Christmas with the likelihood for this to be extended further for the right candidate.
The Head Teacher is approachable and places great importance upon the professional development of her staff and their happiness in school. The wider team are equally as friendly, many of them vastly experienced, and all have great confidence in their Senior Leadership Team. The school is easily accessible by car and public transport, boasts good facilities, and is smaller than average.
You will need to hold the following.
- Experience in EYFS or a Primary School setting
- Available for full time work
- Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector
- QTS is essential
- Core Subject Knowledge of Phonics, reading, writing and mathematics
- Good behaviour management skills
Although pupil behaviour is generally good, standards across school are high and the successful candidate but therefor be confident in implementing effective behavioural strategies. Experience within the Primary Education sector is essential, as is a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum. As an individual, the appointed candidate must hold a genuine passion for education and be of a positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing nature. NQT's are also encouraged to apply.
